Account settings
Manage your profile, theme and language, 2FA and session security, your organizations, and the danger zone in one place.
Account settings is where you manage your account itself, independent of any organization. You can reach it from the user menu > Profile settings at the bottom of the sidebar, and it covers your profile, interface theme and language, password, two-factor authentication (2FA), login sessions, the organizations you belong to, and account deletion. Changes you make here apply no matter which organization you are working in. Notification preferences (in-app and email channels per category) are covered in the separate [Notifications] section.
Profile
Edit your display name. Your email is the account identifier and cannot be changed.
Appearance
Choose light, dark, or system theme and Korean or English language.
Security
Protect your account with password changes, two-factor authentication, and active session management.
Your organizations
Accept pending invitations, review the organizations you belong to and your role, and leave organizations.
Managing your profile
On the Profile page you can change your display name. Your display name identifies you across member lists, chat, and audit logs.
Open your profile
Go to Settings > Profile.
Edit your name
Changing the name field enables the save button. The name cannot be left empty.
Save
Click Save. The change takes effect immediately and a success message appears.
Your email address is your sign-in identifier and the unique key for your account, so it cannot be changed on this screen. It is shown as read-only.
Theme and language
On the Appearance page you choose your interface theme and display language. Both settings are saved in this browser and persist across visits.
| Setting | Options | Scope |
|---|---|---|
Theme | Light / Dark / System | This browser |
Language | 한국어 / English | This browser |
Set the theme to System to follow your operating system's light or dark preference automatically. Switching the language reloads the page to apply it.
Security
Security settings live in two places. Change password is on the Change password page under Personal settings (Settings > Account), while two-factor authentication and session management are on the Security page. We recommend changing your password only from this Change password page.
Change password
Enter your current password
Enter your current password to confirm it is you.
Enter a new password
On the Change password page (Settings > Account), type your new password and confirm it. On this page the password must be at least 8 characters, mix at least two of lowercase, uppercase, digits, and symbols, and must not contain your email or name.
Apply the change
Submit to save the new password. A success message confirms the update.
When you change your password on the Change password page (Settings > Account), every other session except the device you are using is signed out automatically for security. You will need to sign in again on your other devices.
Accounts created only through social sign-in such as Google do not have a separate password. In that case the change-password screen shows an explanatory notice instead, and you continue to sign in through your linked social provider.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Start enabling
On the Security page, click to enable two-factor authentication and enter your current password to confirm it is you.
Register in an authenticator app
Scan the on-screen QR code with a TOTP authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
Verify the 6-digit code
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to finish registration.
Save your backup codes
After registration, one-time backup codes are shown once. Download them or copy them somewhere safe. Use them to sign in when you cannot reach your authenticator app.
Backup codes are shown only once right after activation, and each code can be used only once. Turning two-factor authentication on or off signs out every other session except your current device for security. Disabling it requires confirming your password.
Active session management
Lower on the Security page you can see every session currently signed in to your account. Each session shows the device type (such as macOS, Windows, iOS, Android), IP address, and last activity time.
Current session
The session you are using now is marked, and for safety you cannot sign this one out directly.
Remote sign-out
Sign out other sessions one at a time, or sign out all other sessions at once. Use this if you lose a device or notice suspicious access.
Your organizations
On the Your organizations page you can act on invitations you have received, review the organizations you belong to and your role in each, and leave organizations you no longer work with.
Accept invitations
Pending invitations appear at the top of the list. Accepting one joins that organization and takes you to its dashboard.
Review your organizations
Every organization you belong to is listed by name, along with your role in it (owner, admin, member, or viewer).
Leave an organization
For organizations you do not own, a leave button lets you remove yourself. To prevent mistakes, you confirm by clicking once more.
| Permission | Viewer | Member | Admin | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leave organization | ||||
| Delete account |
If you are the owner of an organization, you cannot leave it directly. You must transfer ownership to another member or delete the organization first. This prevents an organization from being left without an owner.
Danger zone - delete account
On the Danger zone page you can permanently delete your account. Because the action cannot be undone, it requires several confirmation steps.
Start deletion
Click the delete account button in the danger zone to open the confirmation dialog.
Confirm it is you
Accounts with a password must enter that password and type the confirmation phrase exactly to enable the button. Social-only accounts type only the confirmation phrase, without a password.
Confirmation email
Once your request is accepted, a confirmation email is sent to your registered address. Follow the email to complete the final confirmation, after which your account is deleted.
You cannot delete your account while you own an organization. Transfer ownership of, or delete, any organizations you own and then try again. When deletion is blocked, the screen shows which organizations are responsible.
Frequently asked questions
Personal settings does not currently allow changing your email. Your email is your sign-in identifier and the unique key for your account, and it is shown as read-only on the profile screen.
Use the one-time backup codes issued when you enabled two-factor authentication. Each code works only once, so it is important to keep your backup codes somewhere safe.
